As preppers, there’s a whole ton of stuff that we need to know about, from food caching to weaponry and everything else in-between.

I sometimes feel as if my brain is about to explode with the sheer volume of stuff that I seem to be trying to cram into it! So, we need to become masters at multi-tasking if we’re going to cope with it all.

One skill set that can definitely aid in multi-tasking is in the knowledge of the old fashioned knot. Specific knots can assist in so many ways from being able to store gear properly, all the way to preventing an animal from escaping.

But the correct use of knots seems to be a lost art, and if you gave the average Joe some rope and something that needed tying then you’d end up with nothing more than a jumbled and totally useless mess. Hopefully you don’t fit into this category? If you do, then it’s definitely time for some upskilling.
