We preppers are by our habits and beliefs tend to be very organized people, wouldn’t you agree?

We make plans to prepare for all eventualities: we prepare emergency food supplies, weapons, medical kits, emergency shelter and so on. These of course are all necessary and indeed vital, but there’s an aspect of our prepping that most of us forget (and that did include me), and that is in the aspect of our transportation.

When the major SHTF situation strikes, it’s very likely that we’re going to have to get out of Dodge fast. For that of course we need transport of some kind, and for most of us that means a car of some kind.

But take a good look at your car. Ask yourself honestly, is it really built for a SHTF catastrophe and helping you get through one? The answer of course is “no”.
