There’s a number of items that are touted as being the ultimate survival tool, and while many of them really are great, I think I’ve discovered something that in my opinion beats all the rest. With one (or a few) of these, you’re going to be far better off equipped to cope in the wild.

So what is this wonder tool? I’ll give you a clue, it’s made of fabric, it often comes with funny (or not so funny) slogans printed on it and you’ve almost certainly got several at home right now. Yes, it’s the simple and humble tee shirt!

Now at first look a tee shirt doesn’t seem like much of a useful tool. But, there’s one thing that prepping should teach us, and that is to look at everyday items in a whole new way, to take our blinkers off and realize the true potential of the most simple object.
