There’s many items that most preppers would regard as being essential items in any bug-out bag, ranging from ready food supplies to first aid kits.

All of them are important of course, but for me there’s one item that’s just so basic that it would be utterly inconceivable to leave it out. That item is of course a knife. A good survival knife simply must be carried and available at all times.

Good knives don’t come cheap though. So what happens if the wallet only has moths in it, or maybe the SHTF scenario has happened and through carelessness you’ve got stuck without your knife?

Well, one solution of course is to simply make your own knife, and that’s just what this amazing prepper did, and using the most basic materials and tools as well.
