Preppers need tools and equipment, that’s a given. We won’t survive too long with just our bare hands after all. So we need to get our stash organized. The big problem with a lot of it is that it’s really expensive to buy, and if you aren’t a Wall Street Banker then some of it really does stretch the budget somewhat.

There’s a couple of solutions to this dilemma:

1. We buy second hand
2. We make out own

The problem with the first is that while you can sometimes get a bargain, you can also end up with a turkey. So that leaves us with the second choice, and when I came across this video on how to make your own super cool grappling hook I just couldn’t resist.

In all honesty we can probably do without one of these, but hey, any excuse is a good excuse when it comes to more tools:
