There are many natural situations that can trigger a major SHTF situation. Earthquakes can devastate entire cities as can hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Al of these situations are horrible, but perhaps the most terrifying of all is the tsunami.

[cmamad id=”3117″ align=”center” tabid=”display-desktop” mobid=”3104″ stg=””]Normally triggered by an earthquake (or possibly volcanic undersea activity), a tsunami can lay waste to enormous tracts of land and kill literally hundreds of thousands of people – as was all too tragically demonstrated in the great South East Asia event in 2006.

If you live anywhere even close to a coastline (tsunamis can travel a very long way inland), then you need to have a plan reay on how you and your family are going to deal with the effects of a major tsunami event.

There’s no point in burying your head in the sand and pretending it could never happen. It might happen, and you need to be ready and prepared in advance, because it will be far too late once it strikes…
