Let me ask you a question please: How much prepping gear and equipment have you accumulated and how much did it all cost? I know that answering this question for myself (especially the cost factor) would probably make me go a bit pale!

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying at all that buying equipment and supplies is a waste of time and money – far from it! We most definitely do need it. My point is though that the number one factor that will actually help you to survive in a true SHTF situation is not your supplies and equipment, it’s actually the knowledge that you’ve stored away in your brain. Without this knowledge you probably won’t last long enough to actually be able to make use of all you supplies.
