4 Uses For Wild Fungi And I Bet You Hadn’t Thought Of At Least 2 Of Them!

As a prepper you quickly learn the importance of being able to maximize the use of all resources that you come across whether they be for food, shelter, defense or whatever.

Sometimes those uses are not at all obvious at first thought. Experienced preppers soon learn to start looking at resources with a whole new set of eyes and start coming up with different and inventive ways to use what they had. The original inhabitants of North America certainly developed those skills to an amazing degree and could teach the rest of us a lot.

One resource that’s quite readily available in season are wild fungi. A short walk through a forest will probably uncover at least half a dozen different species without even trying too hard.
