As a prepper you quickly learn that there are often a lot of different uses for everyday objects that you hadn’t thought of before. You learn to understand that any and all resources can become precious things after SHTF and that if you fail to maximize their use it can really cost you in a big way.

I’ve certainly developed this skill to some extent, but there’s always new things to learn aren’t there?

One item I hadn’t particularly thought about re-purposing was old newspapers. To be quite honest I get all my news these days off the net, and it’s a long while since I purchased a real printed newspaper. But, there are still free community papers that get left in the mailbox on a regular basis.

Mostly these free papers simply get thrown away, but after reading the genius re-purposing tips for newspapers over the next page I’m definitely going to start keeping hold of them…
