All us preppers know that we need to stash away a cache of supplies that we can use to survive on when the major SHTF situation happens.

We need to use durable items that have a long shelf life and that we can have confidence will still be edible when needed. Unfortunately we have to rely on other peoples opinions on what’s going to last, or on the manufacturers assurances.
