It’s got to be one of the most intriguing things that anyone could find, hidden away off the side of an exit ramp on a major highway – an abandoned (and well made) shelter.

If you find something like this then you just have to wonder about why it was made and also of course by who. In this case the finder suspected that it was made by a homeless person and he (or she) did a very good job of constructing it!

The shelter you see over the next page certainly piques the curiosity, but at the same time it’s also rather sad. Where it was built is clearly illegal, and so the person was probably desperate and really needed somewhere to just get out of the cold and where he could be safe. When you look at the fireplace you’ll realize how much effort went into making it.
