We can certainly live life without any hot water if we really have to. But let’s be honest with ourselves, a reliable supply of hot water makes life a whole lot more pleasant doesn’t it?

It’s even better if this hot water can be generated cheaply as a by-product of another process (such as cooking or heating).

The guy in this video has come up with a very clever system of using copper tubing in a stovepipe to generate endless hot water for his family. Watch:
